After delivering a “magical” version of his Sunday Service at Coachella on  Easter Sunday, multi-talented rapper, Kanye West, is said to be considering starting a more permanent church community that would focus on healing people through the arts.

West who struggles with bipolar disorder, started weekly Sunday services  that focus heavily on music, at the start of 2019. The services have evolved into a special event that drew a crowd of some 50,000  on Easter Sunday at Coachella.

“Sunday Service was so special to experience here at Coachella especially for my first time here!” West’s wife Kim Kardashian wrote in a post on Instagram.

“Kanye started Sunday Service for healing for himself and his close friends and family. He had this vision of starting a church for few years and it was magical seeing everyone else get to experience it. I’m so proud of you babe for doing exactly what’s in your heart. The choir and band work so hard and have so much fun! It’s so inspiring to watch. Thank you to everyone who woke up early to spend Easter Sunday with us. It’s a memory we will cherish forever,” she ended.

According to PEOPLE however, a source close to West say he is looking to set up a more permanent church.

“He is extremely passionate about his faith and wants to share it more regularly with people. He spends a lot of time studying and praying, and wants to share his journey,” the source said.

“Say what you want about Kanye, but he really does want to help people who need support,” the source continued. “He understands brokenness and the need for healing, probably more than most people. He believes in the healing powers of music, but also believes that God can step in and heal people’s brokenness and their issues.”

Along with his wife and other extended family, West’s Sunday service included friends like Chance the Rapper, Kid Cudi, 2 Chainz, Teyana Taylor, Donald Glover, Lizzo and DMX.

“It was completely sincere,” the source said about the Easter Sunday service. “Everything about it was planned out, because he wanted to encourage and minister to people.”

The source noted that if Kanye moves forward with his church, it wouldn’t be traditional worship.

“He has talked about starting his own church, and what exactly that would be,” the source said. “It wouldn’t be the traditional, 3-hymns-and-a-sermon thing. Instead, it would be a way to point people to Jesus through the arts and through a community of people who love and care for each other. He also wants his kids to be raised in faith, and the best way for him to do that is to live out his faith.”
